Brain decoding: liberating the mind from the body

Brain signals are like encrypted codes of our mental states. My group has been researching methods for decoding these signals and recreating the contents of imageries, dreams, and illusions via AI. As this brain decoding advances, humans may gain new possibilities beyond physical limits. Direct connections between the brain and the environment, and between brains, could enable communication beyond words, while brain–AI fusion might give rise to new forms of intelligence. This requires a deep understanding of the relationship between the brain and the mind, reliable findings, and addressing social and ethical concerns. My group is committed to pursuing this challenge responsibly while considering humanity’s future.
