Creating a future where global warming is solved
Transforming society into one with no carbon emissions to prevent global warming has become a crucial global challenge. Addressing it requires a wide range of actions such as introducing innovative energy technologies and changing our lifestyles. We are conducting research using simulation models to explore the degree to which such measures can reduce greenhouse gas emissions, their associated costs, and whether global cooperation can overcome the North-South divide. This involves projecting energy, economic, and agricultural scenarios worldwide up to 2100. While this research poses many challenges, we believe that our work is critical to guide society and policy toward a sustainable future.
