Consortium for Co-creation of a Platform Technology for a Super-smart Energy Society

Kyoto University is building a Consortium for Co-creation of a Platform Technology for a Super-smart Energy Society. This industrial-academic partnership is focused on innovative semiconductor technologies originating from Kyoto University, aimed at achieving Society 5.0* and the extremely low-energy, low-environmental-impact, safe and high-performance society that will follow it. The Consortium promotes the fusion of scientific research, which holds the key to innovation, with universal high technology. It is also developing the next generation of scientists, people whose skills and imagination will enable them to thrive in the age of high innovation that will usher in Society 5.0.
