Striving for stability through risk management
Companies drive the economy, and early detection of issues in corporate performance is essential to preventing failures. Based on information available in financial markets, my goal is to provide society with tools for assessing, through the quantification and visualization of problems, firms’ financial strength. Market data for financial products like stocks and bonds serve as indirect indicators of a company’s financial health assessed by market participants, but the data is often vast and complex. In my research, I focus on extracting accurate information from this intricate data and developing user-friendly risk management tools so that individuals can efficiently inspect firms of their interest. I believe such tools can increase transparency surrounding firms’ financial position, reduce the likelihood of sudden crises, and contribute to a more stable economy.
