Listening to Ancient Indian Texts

I study ancient Indian texts composed in Sanskrit around 3,000 years ago, particularly the Maitrāyaṇī Saṃhitā. The core of my research is reading and understanding them. Even after analyzing grammar and clarifying word meanings, there are often cases where the message remains unclear. In such cases, I keep searching for even the smallest hints and continue investigating and thinking. It is like trying to hear voices from a distant past and place, and I believe that the humanities teach us this mindset. In the future, society will be flooded with even more information, leaving us overwhelmed by processing the constant flow. However, what truly matters may lie in voices that can only be heard by listening closely. Through deciphering ancient texts, I aim to convey the importance of such listening.
